Arrived here after a very pleasant pootle out past Philadelphia, into sheep farming territory by the look of it. It was quite full but didn’t feel crowded and I was warmly greeted, seated and watered quite quickly (for water, read wine). There’s a lovely muted and muffled background hum of contented peoples enjoying a day out. The waiter disappeared for a while but a manager-type quickly pounced when he noticed my pathetic lingering looks to the service station. I ordered something from the seventies, being a hake thermidor. The presentation was not great and looked a little insipid, with the ubiquitous mini-deepfryer basket of chips, but the food was absolutely delicious. A generous side salad of pseudo-Greek variety, nicely cooked chips, well seasoned sauce with a modest piece of fish topped by thankfully not over-cooked shelled shrimp. Well done to a busy kitchen doing both a Sunday set menu and full a-la-carte.
Had the best brunch at Eat@Perdeberg for my twins baptism, food was amazing and we had a great time with family and friends.
Definately worth a visit. The food was delicious and the wine even better. Our waitress, Hazel-dene, was awesome with a great sense of humor. For our next visit we will do the wine and candy-floss pairing. It looked delicious.
Absolutely loved it. Will gladly return. It was a quiet abundantly afternoon lunch away from the crowds. Food was really good and it was complemented by the excellent service
